Reading Support
I offer hands-on, play-based reading support designed to meet children exactly where they are. Each session is engaging and encouraging, helping children build confidence while developing strong foundational skills.
Instruction is phonics-based and aligned with the Science of Reading, focusing on:

Letter-sound relationships

Blending and decoding

Building reading fluency

Growing confidence as readers
Sessions are interactive and supportive, with activities tailored to each child’s needs and learning pace.
Writing Support
I offer writing support that helps students build strong skills and confidence as writers. Instruction is based on the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) approach, which provides clear structure and step-by-step guidance for writing and grammar.
Writing support may include:

Sentence structure and paragraph development

Organization of ideas

Grammar and mechanics

Creative and academic writing support
If grammar support is requested, a $20 materials fee will apply to purchase the required IEW workbook for the student.
Sessions are supportive and flexible, helping students express their ideas clearly and confidently.
