Welcome to Play to Read With Katie. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services

Play to Read With Katie offers reading and writing sessions for children, provided either:

  • In person (in Calhoun, Dalton, or LaFayette, GA), or

  • Online via Zoom

Session lengths and formats vary based on the service booked.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Paid sessions for new clients must be booked and paid for in advance through the website.

  • Current or returning clients may pay at the end of a session, weekly, or monthly, as arranged.

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal.

  • Free reading assessments must be scheduled through the online booking calendar.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded.

  • No-shows may forfeit the session fee.

4. Online Sessions

  • Online sessions are conducted via Zoom.

  • It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to ensure the child has access to a stable internet connection and a quiet learning environment.

  • Sessions are limited to the scheduled time.

5. In-Person Sessions

  • In-person sessions take place at agreed-upon locations.

  • Parents or guardians must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up.

  • Students are encouraged to come ready to learn and do their best during each session. Sessions are designed to be supportive, flexible, and engaging

6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not guaranteed once a session has taken place.

  • If a session must be canceled by Play to Read With Katie, a refund or reschedule option will be provided.

7. Educational Disclaimer

  • Play to Read With Katie provides educational support but does not diagnose learning disabilities or replace formal school instruction or therapy services.

8. Changes to These Terms

  • These terms may be updated at any time.

  • Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
